Race day registration and packet pickup will be from 7:30am to 8:45am at
The start area on Main Street in NMB near the Hillside Drive intersection.
START / FINISH: The Start and Finish areas will be on Main Street in NMB Between Ocean
Blvd. and Hillside Drive.

COURSE: The course is loop of flat paved roads. There will be mile markers at each Mile and
water at 1.5, 4, 6, & 8 mile. There will be water at the mid point of the 5k.

Rotary Club of Little River 13th Annual May 5K to be held, Saturday, May 9, 2020 along the Historic Little River Waterfront. The race begins and ends at the Waterfront. Funds raised go to sponsor End Polio Now, Grand Strand Running Club High School Scholarships and local charities.

The ceremony will take place immediately following the race at the Garden City Chapel. Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female runners overall and to the top male and female finishers in the following age groups: 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & Up
Run for the Children is a 5K run/walk to benefit the Children’s Home Ministry at GCC. participation allows us to have funding for hosting children’s homes at our retreat center and treating them to many activities like the water park, aquarium, Carolina Opry, WonderWorks, etc.

GSRC Distance Challenge
The GSRC is initiating a distance challenge for the year 2021.
The goal: Run or walk 500 or 1000 miles during the year.
At the end of each month, update the spreadsheet with your miles for each month.
For those that complete this challenge, you’ll be awarded a shirt and certificate of completion.
We realize we are already into this year, but those miles you’ve already accumulated count too!
Each month, we’ll remind you to update your miles via our Facebook page.
Only running and walking miles can be counted. Treadmill miles are permitted. Elliptical and bicycle miles are NOT permitted.
You have your choice of TWO distance challenges: 500 or 1000 miles!
Registration is $15. We will accept registrations until June 30 2021.
